The door for using RNA for therapeutic purposes is currently wide-open, as convincingly proven by thenovel and outstanding approaches targeting COVID-19. Moreover, non-coding RNAs are increasingly recognized as multifunctional cellular regulators and the potential in exploring their intricate biology seems enormous.
We have gathered top specialists in the world of non-coding RNAs and R&D experts for a meeting with a dedicated focus on exploring fundamental new mechanisms involving non-coding RNAs and the use of RNAs as innovative therapeutic agents.
The symposium provides a unique forum to discuss how to harness recent improvements in understanding RNA biology and new technology for the development of new strategies to combat obesity, type 2 diabetes and other metabolic diseases.
We present exciting and timely topics like long non-coding RNAs in cellular regulation, ribosomal heterogeneity, RNA processing and post transcriptionally modified RNAs to ultimately discuss how these RNAs can be targeted in the context of disease.
Present your research at the symposium: During the symposium you will get the opportunity to present your research either as a short talk (10 min.) or with a poster and a poster pitch. The organisers will select the oral presenters based on a submitted abstract (please see guidelines under “registration & submission of abstract”) after the registration deadline. If you are not selected for an oral presentation, you will have a 1-minute poster pitch in plenum followed by a poster session. More information will follow after the registration deadline.
We are looking forward to inspiring discussions and new ideas on future directions in this fast-moving research field.
The symposium lasts for 3 days but it is possible to sign up for just one or two of the days.
For more information about the event please visit: https://www.rna-metabolism.com/
Please note that there is a fee of 500 DKK to participate in the symposium. The participation fee includes:
- Admission to inspiring talks from prominent Danish and international speakers
- Free meals and beverages for all three days
- A free dinner for all participants, speakers and organisers on 1st of December
- Opportunity to present your research either as a talk or with a poster and a poster pitch
- Prime networking opportunities
